Today's post involves a bit of heavy science, but stay with me here, okay?
Albert Einstein revolutionized science forever when he used physics to explain that matter is really just energy moving at different speeds. So you, your dog, the screen you're looking at, the chair you're sitting in, the earth, the sun, and everything else in the universe are all made up of energy. We move a lot more slowly than light, but we're all made up of the same stuff. So if we are energy, are words are energy, and our thoughts are energy too.
What does this all mean? Anything you say can become a real, physical thing if you think it enough, believe it enough, and speak it enough. Sometimes it's as simple as saying "I'm going to get modified thumb move to perform on the quiz" and having it come true (this happened to me yesterday, and happens just about every time I have a test). Sometimes it's known as Murphy's Law, where the thing you dread or fear the most ends up happening.
So why are we always thinking about what we don't want? How about thinking about what you DO want and concentrating on that? It may take a little work beyond just thinking...you may have to speak it aloud or write it down, or use pictures (or any combination of the three). Let's face it, doing these things helps to transform the thought energy idea into a physical idea, and you are one step closer to having your physical idea become a physical reality. Try it, what do you have to lose? Why do movie producers and police investigators use story boards and pictures to diagram what should/did happen? They know that putting ideas into pictures and words make them easier to visualize and the visualization is then easier to convert into a reality. This is why vision boards are amazing. Take everything you want in your life and make a collage!
***Disclaimer: I can not in any way promise/guarantee/be held liable for this succeeding, but it's worth a shot, right? If nothing else, it will help remind you daily what you want and help you work toward it!
